Ahhh a long weekend.... just what we all needed. I had a rough week (see baby notes) so it was nice to relax a bit. With only 9 weeks to go (give or take a few) until baby boy Williams arrives my free time is quickly dwindling. I really needed to get some baby stuff that you just can't get anywhere within 200 miles of Kanab so Steve and I drove to Vegas (the nearest Babys R Us) on Sunday. I never in a million years thought I would know the city of Vegas so well. We got a stroller and swung by PetsMart to get our favorite furry children some goodies. Even though we knew it would drive us crazy we got them a few Cuz's (very annoying squeaky, nearly indestructible rubber thingies) and got Tae 3 new frisbees. When we got home from our big city shopping trek we distributed the new toys and let's just say it went over very, very well. For the next few hours all we heard was "squeak squeak squeak". :-)

First things first... Happy Mother's Day, mom :-) I love you!



Today for my first mother's day as a psuedo-mom (11 weeks to go!) we took the canine kids swimming. It's been really hot here this past week and the temps only supposed to keep climbing. Hiking is pretty much out of the question anymore.. not so much due to my size but the heat and the exhaustion. We thought wading through a river would be cool and fun for everyone (some more than others... Tae was in her element).


Ohh.. then I came home and Steve whipped up some homemade belgium waffles for me with strawberries and whipped cream. Now I can't move :-) but the baby seems to enjoy them. He's punching my ribs right now.. I think he wants more.
