Tae turns EIGHT on Monday but I decided we better throw her party today since #1: I was feeling pretty good and #2: There's no baby yet. I didn't want to leave anything to chance and wanted to make sure she got a proper birthday celebration. I made a cake and got hats and it just so happened that a massive rain shower rolled in about an hour before the party which cooled things off enough to have the festivities outside.

I am pretty sure the cake was a big hit. Gandalf's eye's were as wide as saucers and Mack was circling around doing his usual snarls (he can be so intimidating.. heh heh) to try and get the first bite of cake. Of course, that honor was bestowed on Miss Taebo. I can't believe she is eight. I love her so much!

I wasn't able to get any good shots of Mack eating cake because the little scrunt got his foot stuck in a chair while trying to gulp down icing and started freaking out, which in turn ended the party pretty quick. No one was hurt... he's recovering fine... and he even got a new toy today which has since been gutted. Here he is pre-cakerelated injury. :-)

So sad... I was just updating my website belly pics and did something really stupid... looked back at my early days of pregnancy...

I'm REALLY looking forward to lonnnng runs with my new joggin' stroller and baby boy! :)

There's really only one word to sum up the weather lately... HOT. I'm officially in my 9th month of pregnancy and the heat is unbearable here. I guess I have to look on the bright side.. it's supposed to be 127 in Vegas this week.. 127!!! What???!

We decided to stick close to home (even though I really REALLY wanted to go to Lake Powell and swim for real --- not soak in my ghetto baby pool) but at my last dr. appointment I found out I'm 50% effaced and 2 cm dilated.. what that means in English is that I'm getting pretty darn close to having this baby and I really don't want to be in the middle of the desert when that time comes. So, we got out the plastic pools... one for the dogs, and one for me. Of course Tae decided they were BOTH for her and she ended up jumping in with me.

Later that night we watched the Kanab fireworks (I must admit for a small town they put on a pretty good show). It was a pretty good day. To check out the latest w/ baby Williams, click here.
