We all headed out to St. George yesterday so that mommy could finally get a hair cut and color :) My hair was seriously disgusting all throughout my pregnancy so I decided as an early birthday present to treat myself to a professional makeover. Harry and dad spent the afternoon walking around the mall and Target together. I'm a little jealous :)

I meant to post this yesterday... Harry is EIGHT weeks old now! I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. Here's Hars with his best dog buddy, Gandalf. It's so cute to watch him get excited when he sees a dog or kitty.







Harrison is also discovering new sights and sounds and touch. He likes his soft stuffed duck a lot!



Once again, Ms. Diva kitty Annie thinks EVERYTHING is for her, like this cozy basket of Harry's toys.

Note to grammy and pappy Brader ---- it's getting really cold here, you better pack some warm clothes for your trip next week!!

I think this is the first time we ever put "real clothes" on Harrison. He looks so grown up.. for a 6 week old :-)

I think Harry's going through a growth spurt again. I am amazed at how much stronger he gets each day and how much bigger! I put him in our disc chair thinking he's probably fall over and he just sat right up and hung out a bit. I love him so :)

We drove 2 hours to take Harry to a certified pediatrician today. He has a worsening rash all over his face, head, neck, chest... being the worried mom I am, I had to take him to see someone, even if it was going to be a haul.

Turns out he has a form of dermatitis (the same one that causes cradle cap and in the same family of skin rashes as eczema). Poor baby :( :(

It's going to be a lot of trial and error until we have this under control. Rashes suck!

OH, but Harry otherwise is GREAT and NOW WEIGHS 10 lbs 5 oz!!!!

Harry was recently at the doctor and now weighs a whopping 9 lbs 9 oz! He's also grown 2 inches and is 23 inches tall! Everyday we notice something new about him or HE notices something new about his surroundings.



His latest thing is watching Baby Einstein with dad. For 5 weeks old, he really gets into it, waving his arms and legs and smiling at the tube.









You wouldn't think so, but the mornings in Utah are pretty chilly. We are watching our friends pets while they are away and I take Harry with me every morning at 6:30 AM. It was so cold this morning that I put on some sweats and a sweater on him. He looks so big to me all of a sudden.



Harry's new friend, India, checks him out. Harry loves cats.



And this is C.J. He likes to wave his fluffy tail in Harry's face. heh

Happy anniversary to us, and happy 1 month bday to Harrison! We took the lil' Williams to the Grand Canyon and did a mini hike at Imperial Point, the highest point at the North Rim... starting him off on his hiking adventures the right way :-)



He slept the whole way there and back, and pretty much slept the entire hike, too. He only woke up briefly to eat. Steve and I enjoyed the trip. It always feels good to get outdoors and now it's even cooler to have someone new to share the experiences with.

It's hard to believe that tomorrow will be Harry's one month birthday! He's getting so big already. What's more amazing is that tomorrow is Steve and my ONE YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY! What an awesome present, our cute little son. This has honestly been the best year of my life.
