We woke up to a stormy and dreary day, but... true to it's promise of 300 days of sunshine a year, Kanab came through and we enjoyed a cooler, hikable afternoon. We headed up towards the sand dunes and had fun!!



Earlier in the day, Harry chowed and showed off his new teeth (8 total).



Harry now feeds himself his meals... I'd say it's going..... messy-ly :) :)

The evenings are cooling down a little so it's perfect for after dinner hikes! Fortunately we don't have to go far for amazing treks... tonight we just hiked around Angel Canyon, where Best Friends is located. The best part of tonight is that EVERYONE came along!! Tae, G-dog, Scrunt, Harry and Daddy and me! FUN!



I let Gandy off leash for a bit and he had the best time. For once he got to party with the other dogs.







A beautiful, green, clear night. I LOVE this canyon!!



Harry loves the backpack. He would cry whenever we stopped :) funny kid.



So, lately the "new thing" is that Harry does NOT want to go to bed. It will be midnight and this kid is still going nuts ---- playing with books and legos, chattering away and cruisin all over the house. The ONLY way he'll go to sleep is if we go for a drive. Tonight we headed out towards AZ. Since it's usually a spur of the moment quick drive, Steve forget his wallet. Wouldn't you know... we get pulled over!! For a friggin' license plate light!!!! Well, we panicked w/ no license but we explained to the cop that we were just trying to get our kid to bed!! Harry was SCREAMING bloody murder in the back seat. I think he felt bad for us... and just said "have a good night." and we were off :) Harry saved the day! Thanks cranky son!

Kanab was hot and buggy and we all needed to GET OUT of town, so we headed down south to the Grand Canyon. It was a spur of the moment idea, but we are so glad we went because we all had a very fun time, especially Harry (even though you'd never know from the photos ---- I swear, he's happy!! He just has a cute perma-pouty face.. heh)



Thank goodness I brought a blanket. We were surprised at how chilly it was at 10,000 feet elevation!!

Steve and I went on a date last night (!!??!) to see the Dark Knight and it was very fitting considering the crazy storm that was brewing. The movie was stellar! Thanks Elissa and Mike for watching the bean :)

My first attempts at allergy free baking... Brown Rice Bread. Harry dug it :) I almost feel like we can live normally thanks to the awesome cookbook from our friend, Christina. All the recipes are milk/soy/wheat/nut/egg/corn free. Very VERY cool!!



Harry was all pooped from a night of partying w/ Elissa and Dovey. He napped for FOUR hours today! Gave me time to bake one loaf of bread, quinoa/banana muffins and oat muffins!!! wweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Harry woke up with a fever again today, but after a lot of rest and a lot of Blue's Room, he's starting to perk up :)






Harry loves taking things off shelves.. especially his books. Except when they fall on him and make him sad.



Now if I could only teach him to put the books BACK on his shelf.

Harry spiked a super high fever from his stupid vaccines (no -- they're actually not stupid, I know they are very useful --- but.. grrrrrrr)

Poor illin' baby boy. Feel better soon Harry.

Harry opened the box ALL BY HIMSELF!!





It made mommy so very happy since the little guy has been miserable ever since we trialed soy again --- with no avail.
