Fall is definitely in the air... especially in the canyon. We went for a morning hike and the colors were stunning! We even got rained on a bit, but no one seemed to mind. The dogs were so happy to get out and run and sniff.

Harry made some new friends yesterday at the park. Miss Addy (left) and Meadow (right). Such cuties!! Harry was pretty much indifferent to them, though. He was too busy playing with rubber bits on the ground.

I guess Harry didn't like having an uneven pair of black eyes, so he went and banged the other side up this morning. UGH. SERIOUSLY. mamma's gonna have a nervous breakdown soon :)

My hubs is turning my son into a nerd. Seriously, I went into his game room and there is Harry, entranced by the stupid game and laughing at explosions.

We spent the afternoon at the toadstools out in Pariah. We had never been to these toadstools. It was a short hike but awesome!!! So awesome!





It was a gorgeous day... a little toasty, but we found a nice shaded spot under a rock wall that offered a nice sandy spot to picnic and relax.

Harry got to see his first rainbow... and wow was it awesome! I couldn't get the whole arc in the camera lens!









He's very smiley because I think he liked getting raindropped on. :)

The beans shiner has gotten a deeper hue of purple. So pretty!

On some good notes, we started taking Mackie on walks around the neighborhood at night. Mack is really good off leash and stays right by the stroller. Harry LOVES Mack. Yesterday he said "Mack!!" and today he said "DOG!!" heh :)

If harry is having a very bad day and super cranky, I just have to take him out in the garage and let him see Mack. Instant smiles. I really hope one day he can hug and play with him.

On the allergy front --- we have arrangements to take him to a specialized eczema/allergy clinic in SanDiego on Oct 27. We decided to make a vacation out of it and just booked a cool little condo on a cliff overlooking the Pacific. I am excited. I hope the drs can help us with Harry's extensive allergies and skin issues. It's another step forward. I also hope there's some good coffee shops within strollin' distance!

This was so cute I had to post again today.... I was working at the table and glanced around to see where Harry had wondered off to... he was chillin' in his inflatable car. So funny.

Harry got his second black eye in under 2 months! If this is any premonition of the next 18 years, I'm in trouble. He's not even walking yet! SHEEEESH!! :(
