This morning I nearly had a heart attack when I found a BUG under my COVERS!!! I sent Steve to "rid of it" and he took Harry along, who threw a huge hissy fit when he tried to put it outside.... so, instead it's now in a cup in our garage.

So last night I walked into our bedroom to find the above scene... HARRY STANDING!!! it's been almost one week since he hurt his leg and has not even attempted to put pressure on it until last night! HOORay!! I am so happy. maybe it is not broken? we find out today.. stay tuned!!

Poor little Harry sprained his ankle at the park on Thursday. Ow. We are hopeful it is NOT broken.. he goes to the orthopedic doctor on Wednesday.. until then he is splinted and resting (a hard thing for such an active little guy!!)

I was getting a little (okay --- a LOT) stir crazy sitting around all day so we took the boys to the lake today. It down-poured the entire drive there, but cleared up just in time to arrive at Lone Rock.

I think we're all getting adjusted to the new schedule. Harry loves being a big brother, but it hasn't come without a few tantrums daily. All in all, things have been really good :)

Jules arrived on Steve's 30th birthday! What a gift :)

After a very long day, little Julian entered the world on June 5 at 1 AM via c-section. We tried our hardest to have a successful VBAC, but after 8 hours (yes EIGHT) of pushing, he was plain old stuck, just like Harry. It was a sad day for mommy, but now that he is here, everything is right with the world again. Harry LOVES his little brother (maybe a little too much...) and I'm starting to heal up, but it might be a long ride for a while.
