HOLY SMOKES!! Today lightning struck RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from our house and set the whole road on fire!!! We are soo lucky the wind was not blowing towards our house or we would have been torched. SO SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!





But Harry got to sit in a FIRETRUCK!! he was soooooooooooooooooooooo excited!



And he met a real fireman!!!!!!!!!!! So cool! We should have fires more often! NOT.



Whoaaah.. too much truck to process.

In order to beat the heat today, we headed to a higher altitude... it was about 20 degrees cooler and beauutttiful! Here we are at Cedar Breaks.. me and JJ

When did Harry get so big??

Harry's cast is off! And his buddies are SO EXCITED to have him back outside! :)



Harry's leg is healed, but he still won't walk on it... we don't think it hurts him, but maybe it's still weak, or he is afraid it will hurt. Anyhow, he's still scooting but at least he seems more comfortable.



His left leg is a little skinnier and a lot rashier!!

Harry loves going for walks and finding stuff. Today we got a pine cone and a flower.





Little Jules wasn't too impressed.



:-( we found an injured bird. Right now it's in our garage (steve rescued it) and we are hoping it makes it through the night so we can take it up to Best Friends Wild Friends today.



I think Harry's new haircut makes him more mischievous.

We had a pretty uneventful Independence Day. It was too hot to be outside in a cast, so we played inside and at dusk, we set off a few fireworks in our yard :)
